Metaphors are wonderful! They are fun and insightful to work with. Unfortunately I have a scheduling conflict with the Let Metaphor workshop and will have to miss it. However, I am taking a good look at the Flash Nonfiction workshop. Thank you for all the info here. Also, the time you get in writing with Little Fawn care is still impressive! And a great incentive for me to focus more time on my writing in spite of life's events.
I frequently find a whole essay I write is metaphor, but rarely see it until I write it. Then I go back and tease it. My brain processes the world through metaphor. A know a few people who don’t see or understand metaphor which sent me on a deep dive. How can it be? Turns out that’s a Real Thing. Aren’t brains just amazing??
It is an apt and intriguing thought. Metaphor as queen. I am also intrigued about the dna story submission. It seems earlier there was a google form to do that, but ..now...? Where can I find that again or learn any more specifics for submission? Grazie! I see your email there - is that how we do it?
