Every time I read something of yours, I feel a sense of possibility. A notebook of names. Yes, of course! Thank you. 🌱

Names. Oh my. I had a personal fiction project for a long time that served no other purpose than to let my fool archetype have fun. My town was called Moonshine Stills, and the Diamondback River ran through it. Characters included Luther Strange and his son Thurble, twins Victor and Champion Strange, and another set of twins Puppy and Pony Lightfoot. Then, giving my fool full rein and with no plans for anyone to ever read this, I went ahead and named a journalist Penn Fountain, a nurse Nurse Grudges, an bar owner Pearl Wisdom, and an MC Billy Divine. I kind of miss Moonshine Stills now that I recall these characters with the ridiculous names. I love the recurring Silas, and the Sunday nights sound (Billy) Divine! Here's hoping I can make some. Thank you!

Names are so interesting! One of the things I like about them is seeing a name before you see the person who has the name. Immediately, I build an image in my mind of the person based on their name. Sometimes when I see the person, they are somewhat similar, or rarely just like my image, or wildly different. The same with animal names. The idea of a name journal is wonderful, and I am going to begin one. In your picture of the sticky notes of names, the name "Emmitt" with and "i" instead of an "e", as I've always seen it spelled, makes me curious about that person. I also love how you have used Silas's name in your books. The Sunday Sessions look intriguing. I do my best to take part. A tricky time of day here (4pm), but it's all about choices! Thank you for this.

I was curious about the DNA test, so I asked my three siblings about it, since it would affect them as well. My father played around a bit and I thought there might be somebody out there related to us. My brother said no thanks, I have all the siblings I want. 😂

I knew someone in college with the last name Lovejoy - I always thought he was lucky to be born with that name!
