Mysterium Workshop Is Tonight

This evening I’m teaching a 2-hour workshop for writers in how to Access the Mysterium.
What is the mysterium?
When I use the word, I refer to an invisible part of life—a layer of the multiverse—that includes such forces as spirit, mystery, myth, symbolism, dreams, archetypes, and consciousness. The mysterium is also anything that happens but cannot be explained scientifically or rationally.
Why would a writer want to access the mysterium?
Because all great writing has a long taproot down into the mysterium. Accessing those forces and powers is important for a writer who wants to not only capture the details of observable life but dip into the meaning and deeper resonance of it all.
How does a person access the mysterium?
There are many ways. Although we think of the mysterium as being avant garde, organized religion is a way to access it. Divination is a way. Dreams are a way. Etcetera.
How do you teach a person to access it?
I cannot really teach you how to do it. I can only show you ways that work for some people.
The course is a survey of sorts, meaning an overview, a list. “This has worked for some, this works for me, I plan to try this, I tried that and it didn’t work.”
Not everything I talk about will land with you. But you may discover something you haven’t thought about, which may open a door to a new land.
When is the workshop?
We start at 7 p.m. Eastern Time US/Canada. We’ll go until 9ish.
Is the workshop recorded?
Yes, I will record it, and I will provide you a link to the recording if you can’t make the timeframe in person or if you want to listen a second time.
Is there a fee?
Yes, the workshop costs $33.
