Let's work on an actual strategy.
Last week I came to you with a problem, “I Have a Problem and I Need Your Help.” The problem was infiltration by bots in a workshop series I am offering. I received a lot of advice, both in post comments and in private messages. To rectify the problem, here’s what I have done.
I refunded registration fees to any suspicious person, mainly entities whose “names” didn’t match their email addresses.
I removed the Zoom link that was being provided to registrants.
I created a new Zoom, the link to which will be sent via email to registrants.
I kept real registrants in the workshop, folks I know and folks whose names matched their email addresses. Therefore, if you signed up already, there is no need to sign up again.

You decide. These Sunday Sessions are by donation. When you sign up, you're signing up for all 5 sessions, although that's not clear on Eventbrite. The Zoom link you receive will be the same for all 5 sessions. Make one donation for the entire series of workshops.

Focus for One Hour
At 5 pm Eastern Time every Sunday afternoon for five weeks during January and February 2025 I offer you a space to envision our lives--the world and the life we want--how to appreciate where we are and how to make things even better.
These are the popular Sunday Sessions, 1 hour on Sunday evening devoted to you and your journal.
When you sign up, you sign up for all 5 sessions, although that's not clear on Eventbrite.
The Zoom link you receive will be the same for all 5 sessions.
When
Sessions will take place from 5-6 pm Eastern Time on Sundays in Jan. & Feb. You can come for one session or all five.

How We Will Spend Our Time
The hour consists of
flow-writes
journaling exercises
tiny PowerPoint presentations
short meditations
breathing
readings
visioning.
This is not a time for sharing. This is a powerful hour that you use for yourself, with me as your guide. You will be welcome to turn off your video. The level of participation is your decision, and participation is always optional.
The Vibe
Loving, inclusive, hopeful, and determined.
What You Need
You will need your journal and your sharpened pencils. Bring your colored pencils or pens if you own some. That's it. A quiet space would be nice for you, but not necessary, and a cup of tea might work wonders.
Are Sessions Recorded?
Yes. Recordings will be available afterward, so no worries about missing a session.
Why Do It?
You are powerful. You can accomplish great things.
All you need is support, encouragement, hope, and a plan of action.
You get an hour set aside in your busy life to strategize, process ideas and feelings, let your creativity flow, and maintain a centering practice.
Every exercise can be funneled into a larger project you are working on.
A lot of us are doing this together.

Who I Am
I am a writer and author of many books about the community of life. These include Ecology of a Cracker Childhood, The Seed Underground, and Wild Spectacle. My nature-forward Substack, Trackless Wild, has over 5K subscribers and my essays have appeared in more than 40 anthologies, most recently Solastalgia: An Anthology of Emotion in a Disappearing World (edited by Paul Bogard). I am a national speaker on issues of environmental wholeness and a better world. I live on an organic farm in the south where I’m passionate about trees, books, wildflowers, chocolate, and roots music. I believe 100% in the power of humans to make a better world and I love helping people get there.
My Inspiration
I am inspired to do this journaling series because of Seth Godin’s latest book, This Is Strategy. I have 4 copies of the book to give away, which I will do during our sessions.
